Ostpreussenhütte

To kick off the start of the spring season, we're planning to run up to the beautiful Ostpreußenhütte, should the snow levels allow. The route up to this beautiful location at the base of the Hochkönig is approximately 16km and 1200hm. Like all our runs, our pace will be relaxed and concentrate on enjoying the surroundings and one another.

Should the snow still be too high, an alternative will be announced.

We expect the run to take about 5 hours, so please bring plenty of water and food for this distance. Runners should bring clothing appropriate for the weather, trail running shoes with an off-road tread, min. 1L of water, and and food for the duration of the run. Departure time will be finalized closer to the day of the run, but expect to meet relatively early to carpool or take public transportation to Werfen.

This run is open to all members of the Trail Community Salzburg. Non-members are also welcome to either become a member or to make a donation of 5 Euros.
