Recce Run: Adidas Infinite Trails

Trail Community Salzburg is excited to help you get ready for one of the most fun trail parties in the region! Adidas Infinite Trails held on 8-10 September is a running festival that includes races for all abilities, including individual races of 15km, 45km, and 60km as well as a team race in which 3 runners cover 21km, 35, and 44km respectively. For our long run this month, we'll be following Loop S, the shortest of the three routes of the team race, which covers 21km and 1900hm. Like all our runs, we will not be going at race pace. We're going out to have a fun time together and to give you a taste of the route. This is a somewhat big day out, and we expect the run to take about 5 hours, so please bring plenty of water and food for this distance. Runners should bring clothing appropriate for the weather, trail running shoes with an off-road tread, min. 1L of water, and and food for the duration of the run. Departure time will be finalized closer to the day of the run, but expect to meet relatively early to either carpool or take the train to Bad Hofgstein. This run is open to all members of the Trail Community Salzburg. Non-members are also welcome to either become a member (and save 10% on all runs at Adidas Infinite Trails) or make a donation of 5 euros.
