Recce Run: Alpine Team Trail

This month, Trail Community Salzburg will be checking out the route of one of Salzburg's newest races, Alpine Team Trail Austria. Not only is it a fun route in a beautiful part of Salzburg, but all income from the race is used to support families in need. As such, we're happy to present this race to our members by following its "short" track, which covers 23km and 1523hm. Like all our runs, we will not be going at race pace. We're going out to have a fun time together and to give you a taste of the route. Expect a big day out. We expect the run to take about 5 hours, so please bring plenty of water and food for this distance. Runners should bring clothing appropriate for the weather, trail running shoes with an off-road tread, min. 1L of water, and and food for the duration of the run. Departure time will be finalized closer to the day of the run, but expect to meet relatively early to carpool or take public transportation to Werfenweng. This run is open to all members of the Trail Community Salzburg. Non-members are also welcome to either become a member or make a donation of 5 euros.
